I love doing two things more than anything else- communicating & making things. Seeing a problem & engaging in the process of finding a solution is one of the most gratifying experiences- it is thrilling to translate an idea into something that others can engage with & experience that will enrich their lives. I used to make things & share ideas as an art student, but then I discovered the web & fell in love. Ever since then, constantly learning & building with this new eco-system has become a way of life for me. Now I do full-stack web development & a bit of graphic design. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time outdoors, running, cooking, listening to music or writing. I am based in Central Ohio, but I want to travel everywhere.

Bodega Bay Real Estate
Dennis & Kathleen Erba of Bodega Bay Real Estate are broker associates looking to expand their real estate business in Northern California. They requested a site with a cool, calm feeling to mirror the Pacific ocean that was such a predominant part of the area they sold homes in. The site had to be clean & simple, with a streamlined user experience to drive lead capture.
I accomplished this through the use of two large call to action buttons at the top of the site with an option for both buyers & sellers. I also highlighted several key areas in which the Erbas do most of their business & provided many opportunities for the user to view data on the homes in these areas.
The Schmitz & Smith team needed a rebrand of their website after principal broker Shannon Schmitz took Morgan Smith on as her partner. The company already had a well-established brand in the Austin area they serviced, so they didn’t want to reinvent the wheel. They went with a clean, simple, design that echoes many elements of their previous site & takes the opportunity to update the look & feel a bit, while incorporating several key features that distinguish their brand.
Schmitz & Smith publish a magazine called Locale Austin that highlights the many things that make Austin such a unique place to live & they had just finished shooting a series of videos that profile various neighborhoods in Austin. I integrated these assets along with many other items they provided on the real estate market & process, along with data & information on the area.
Keenan Properties principal broker Jennifer Keenan was looking to improve her web presence with a new site. She had recently done some rebranding & her new website had to be reflective of the high-end clientele that she worked with.
I designed her a refined, understated site that allowed users to learn about the areas she services, while driving lead capture. Her business spans a broad spectrum of the real estate industry- including residential homes, lofts, & property development. I delivered her a site that speaks to all of these areas of business.
Exit Realty Number One is an Exit Realty partner based in Nevada. They needed a site that showcases the many services they have to offer, the area they service, & provides opportunities to grow their business by recruiting more agents & networking.
I designed a site that is visually appealing, while boasting a great deal of information, data & interaction opportunities. In addition to pages that provide information on the homes in the area, they also requested a preferred partners roster, market stats reports, & more. This site has enriched their business by doing the balancing act of speaking to the needs of all the users that visit their corner of the web.
Buyers Realty USA owner Dan Bradford approached my company to modernize his web presence. He services the Las Vegas area & needed a site that provides tools & resources to empower his clients in the buying & selling process, while capturing new clients searching for Las Vegas real estate services. He wanted a redesign that was clean & modern, but also followed in the tradition of his almost 20 years of previous business.
Buyers Realty USA serves residential buyers, but their specialty is assisting foreign nationals in purchasing & selling investment properties. Since this is the case, one of the key features Dan requested is the property search & valuation tool front & center to speak to the two primary needs of his clients.
